Terms of Service

Effective Date: September 1, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Property Lien Group ("PLG," "we," "us," or "our") website and services. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services Provided

PLG provides flat-fee lien and bond claim document preparation and filing services for contractors and suppliers in Texas, including Intent to Lien Notices, mechanics liens, constitutional liens, lien releases, and bond claims. Every filing is reviewed by our attorney partner's office before it is filed. PLG is not a law firm and does not provide legal representation.

2. Fees and Payment

Fees are flat-rate and disclosed prior to filing. Payment is due prior to filing and is processed through Square or Stripe. Filing is included in the base price of every product; there is no separate filing upcharge.

3. No Attorney-Client Relationship

PLG is not a law firm. While our attorney partner's office reviews every filing before it is submitted, this review does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and PLG, or between you and our attorney partner, unless separately and expressly agreed in writing.

4. Accuracy of Information

You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all information and documents you submit to us, including property details, claim amounts, and dates of labor or materials furnished. PLG is not liable for errors, delays, or invalid filings resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information you provide.

5. Deadlines

PLG works to meet statutory deadlines under Texas Property Code Chapter 53 based on the date we receive a complete file from you. Delays in submitting complete and accurate information may affect our ability to meet applicable deadlines. You are responsible for providing complete information with enough time for preparation, review, and filing.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PLG's total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees you paid for the specific filing at issue. PLG is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

7. Refunds

Once document preparation has begun, fees are generally non-refundable. If work has not yet started on your file, a partial refund may be issued at PLG's discretion.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Collin County, Texas.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
